First to clarify the reason I wrote this essay. I have been gambling on the web or at land based betting houses for many years. I have discovered, the fixation can take a hold of you and you will not even notice it until you are penniless. Particularly if you are on a winning run. I have gone through many thousands of dollars in only a short amount of time and still on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It appears you’re just having a blast until you start to track your defeats and the anguish settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can win it back" repeatedly. It doesn’t works. Then you become queasy in your gut and the more you attempt the faster you are deprived.
When you notice that you are ahead, STAY on the UP! When you begin to be beaten, do not tell yourself, "well just maybe one more" and again and again, believe me, this logic hardly ever operates. Say you’re betting on slots, have an amount set to the side before beginning your play. DO NOT exceed that limit, no matter how captivating. If you happen to succeed, put that in a separate pot. Do not use your successes no matter what. As soon as you’ve gone through your primary set limit, bail out. Leave, regardless if it is on the internet or at a land-based betting house, don’t stick around. Always keep in mind, there will be another day, another time.
Always remember, wagering is supposed to be FUN not backbreaking, sickening work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcannot afford the cost, don’t even begin.
